Our under counter dishwashers & glasswashers are perfect for smaller kitchens but we can just as easily cater for busy restaurants, pubs, cafes, bars, school canteens and large venues with our range of pass through and conveyor dishwashers.

Classeq was a UK family business formed in 1977 and has enjoyed great success having grown to dominate their sector of the market. In 2004 Classeq was purchased by Winterhalter a family run German based company and has continued to produce high quality products.  Winterhalter is a renowned manufacturer of high quality dishwashers.

Classeq's range of dishwashers are hardwearing , simple to use and cost effective for a wide range of commercial use. Our Classeq glasswashers are reliable, quick and efficient providing thorough washing of crockery and glassware making these ideal machines for use in restaurants and catering establishments offering excellent value for money. All Classeq dishwashers are manufactured in the UK and come with 1 year labour and parts warranty apart from the Duo 750 model which comes with 2 year labour parts and labour warranty. There is an optional extra for particular models within the Classeq range to add water softener or a drain pump.

Water Softener

What is Hard Water?

Hard water is the build-up of naturally occurring minerals in the water supply. Minerals such as Calcium and Magnesium build up around the surfaces of your dishwasher affecting the overall performance leading to costly maintenance and dirty dishes.

Water Softener

Water Softener helps to break down the mineral deposits left by hard water. Taking only a few minutes to apply to a dishwasher can save hundreds in costly maintenance fee's.
Your dishwasher warranty can be affected if a build-up of hard water deposits are detected on particular elements within your machine. 

Contact your local water authority who will provide you with accurate information on the water hardness in your area and therefore the amount of water softener required for your machine.

Soft: 0–60 mg/L

Moderately hard: 61–120 mg/L

Hard: 121–180 mg/L

Very hard: ≥181 mg/L

Washing Detergents & Rinse Aid

As with domestic detergents and rinse aids avaliable they range in price and quality. We would always recommend using a high quality product (preferably what the manufacturers recommend)
If too much rinse aid is used whitish/ blue streaks will appear on glassware however if too little rinse aid is used water spot mark will appear on glassware.

Top Tips

• Filters - Always keep filters clean – dirty, partly blocked filters will have an impact on running costs and could ultimately damage the machine. The better the filtration system, the longer the washwater will last between changes and the lower the running costs.
• Double-skinned cabinets - When you’re buying, consider a double-skinned machine. They may cost more, but running costs are lower as they’ll hold their heat better. In addition, they’re quieter, which is good news in the kitchen or bar!
• Save money reduce the size of wash tank- Some modern machines have smaller wash tanks that use less water – which means less detergent and less energy for heating, too. All of which saves on running costs, without affecting results.
• Lime scale- is a huge issue with warewashers, so always fit a water softener. Integral water softeners are easiest to look after and save space.
• Regular maintenance pays dividends in operating efficiency, thus keeping the warewasher’s running costs down, as well as lengthening the life of the machine.
• Reduce crockery chips- remember crockery is more vulnerable to chips when hot.
• Money down the drain - Check the dosage of your rinse aid and detergent not only will you get dishes that are streaky and look unclean but your money will be going down the drain too. If you have an automatic pump, ask your engineer to alter this for you.
